In cooperation with Forting s. r. o., we offer Polystyrene ceiling panels. Polystyrene ceiling panels are used as permanent formwork for all types of horizontal structures.
The panels cover a span of up to approximately 8.5 m while maintaining a very low ceiling weight (approximately 220 kg/m2) and excellent physical properties. Ceiling panels are very advantageous precisely for their low weight and very easy handling on the construction site.
Individual panels are supplied in lengths of 2 m, are simply stacked on prepared formwork and filled with the necessary reinforcement. After the ceiling is concreted, the formwork panel provides high thermal and sound insulation without the formation of thermal bridges in the structure. Ceilings made with polystyrene panels have very good thermal insulation and low weight, but at the same time very good rigidity, typical of monolithic structures. They are particularly suitable above unheated basements or under attics. During the concreting phase, the panels are a structural element that transfers the assembly load (concrete). After the concrete has hardened, they become a non-structural element and perform the function of thermal and sound insulation. The external load of the ceiling structure is transferred by steel ribs (trigons) and the concrete ceiling slab.
