The company H-TIPOL Halašta, spol. s r. o. specializes in the production of a wide range of products made of foamed and extruded polystyrene, which are used in various applications and fields of activity. The company H-TIPOL Halašta was founded by brothers Zdeněk and Milan Halaštová in 1996 after many years of experience and practice in this field.

Both entrepreneurs started their business as individuals, operating on the basis of a trade license. At that time, the premises of a barn next to a family house in the village of Zašová served as their business premises.

In 1998, it was decided to purchase land in the local developing industrial zone of Luhy for the construction of a new facility. Construction of the first stage began in the autumn of the same year.

The first part of the new building was successfully approved in June 2000 and production began after the technological equipment was installed.

Almost immediately after the completion of the first stage, construction began on the second stage. This is a warehouse and workshop for the final assembly of products. These new premises were approved and production began in December 2001.

Until this time, both entrepreneurs operated more or less independently. In 2000, after moving to a new premises, a partnership agreement was drawn up between Zdeněk Halašta and Milan Halašta. A joint logo was also created that year, and since then both entrepreneurs have operated together under the name H-TIPOL Halašta – Zpračování polystyrenu.
